It’s been 2 years since my last introductory post, and I must admit, a lot has changed. Time to update the information!

I recently left the corporate world and am now fully focused on growing my HR agency, while continuing my work in career consulting and coaching. I help companies with motivation, development, recruitment, and everything related to people, ensuring that the HR strategy supports the overall goals and strategy of the business. I also help individuals find their calling, their dream job, set the right career goals, navigate the path from point A to point B, and overcome any obstacles and roadblocks in a fulfilling and successful career.

Additionally, I conduct training sessions and events on all topics related to my work. The content of these events and courses is tailored to the specific needs of each client, making them absolutely unique.

My Experience

My experience spans both international corporations and small companies in industries such as banking, retail and wholesale trade, manufacturing, IT, e-commerce, and shipping. I’ve worked in various markets, including the Baltics, Scandinavia, Germany, Denmark, Cyprus, Greece, UAE, and Singapore. This gives me a huge knowledge base to understand business from the inside and offer effective solutions. Although I live in Estonia, my client geography is not limited – I work wherever my experience and expertise are needed.

One of my biggest pillars – family

My partner and I live in the suburbs of Tallinn, and we have three children – Maxim (13), Artur (12), and Anna (9). They are all going through their teenage years one by one, and honestly, it’s a whole new level of negotiation skills and psychology! My family teaches me to see life differently, broadens my horizons, and sometimes puts me in situations that no business case could ever compare to!

What has changed in me over the past two years?

✔️ I’ve gained experience in the most complex HR projects, learning to build processes from scratch for both small companies and large corporations.

✔️ Together with my clients, I’ve grown as a career strategist. The caliber of people who approach me has significantly increased, and their requests have become more complex, but at the same time, the quality of my consultations and solutions has improved.

✔️ I work a lot on my mindfulness, which allows me to grow both professionally and personally.

✔️ My circle has become higher quality: I no longer waste time on toxic people and realize that mental health is a priority.

What has stayed the same?

✔️ Love for people and their potential – I truly believe that work can be fulfilling and not cause suffering.

✔️ My hobbies are the same – salsa and kizomba, yoga, and diving. I draw energy from travel; without it, life loses its color.

✔️ I love my friends and inviting them over – it’s important for me to be surrounded by people I feel comfortable with, who I can engage with, and talk about anything without holding back.

Here are a few facts you might not know about me:

1️⃣ ‘m a person with a humanities background who survived in a technical university.

Decided to learn Estonian? Of course, it makes perfect sense to dive into studies in Estonian, even with a relatively weak command of the language.
In the first lectures, I understood 2 words out of 10. By the third month – already 6 out of 10. Then I just forgot about the language struggles and did everything I could to avoid failing, while also working at a nightclub.

1️⃣Wanted to improve my English and took an unconventional path.
Wanted to improve my English and took an unconventional path.**
I moved to Cyprus for a year (no, not for the beach). I decided the best way to perfect my language was to get an MBA with a focus on HR.
Since then, I can not only speak English but also break down business strategies in three languages and explain how to hire the perfect team anywhere in the world.

3️⃣ My career transitions – a full action movie.

All of my career transitions happened without support, the right connections, or onboarding – I did it all myself:

🚀 From banking to online sales and marketing.

🚀 From marketing and online sales back to banking, changing directions within the bank.

🚀 And then, after 18 years of effort, I finally transitioned fully into HR!

🔥 In the process, I collected the complete set of “how NOT to switch paths” skills – and now I know exactly how to make the transition easier.

4️⃣ I’m not a #supermom.

My children have been taught to be independent from a young age – they don’t ask where their socks are, can cook dinner for themselves, and do their homework on their own starting from first grade.
And I get to be a happy mom!

5️⃣ But family is my #1.

Work, projects, clients – all of these are important, but if there’s chaos and stress at home, no success can make me happy. Balance is not a myth, it’s a necessity.

6️⃣ My parents are typical Soviet people – an engineer and a teacher, who still don’t really understand what I do.

They say, “You should be more humble” but proudly send my TV appearances to relatives. My openness in the blog still bothers them to this day.

7️⃣ My motto: Those who don’t risk, don’t drink champagne!

That’s why I take risks, experiment, change my life, and help others do the same – but without unnecessary bumps on the head.

This blog is where I share real experiences: career hacks, HR cases, and life observations. Sometimes with irony, sometimes seriously, but always honestly.

So, if you’re interested in how to stay sane at work, build your career, or create an environment where people actually want to work – welcome!
